Cedar Chest Quilters' Guild

The Cedar Chest Quilters’ Guild is the quilting hub for Iron County, based in Cedar City and drawing from a wide rural catchment — this is a part of Utah where the next quilter might be a good drive away, which makes an organized group worth more than it would be on the Wasatch Front.

Alongside regular meetings the guild runs its own retreats, which is a step up from what most guilds of this size manage and suggests an active committee behind it.

Cedar City itself has more quilting going on than its size suggests. It sits about an hour north of St. George on I-15, so members within reach of both get the run of five shops down there plus Clover Patch in Santa Clara.

Locally, The Quilter’s Cache is the shop we can confirm in town — though we suspect Cedar City has more than we currently list, and would welcome word from anyone who knows.
