Fabric stores in Tooele, Utah

Tooele is the county’s center for quilt-fabric shopping and guild activity. A local fabric business covers project and finishing needs, while a long-running daytime guild provides education, recurring challenges, and community-service opportunities.

TGIFabric

Thank Goodness It’s Fabric & More, also known as TGIFabric, operates at 140 E. 200 South, Suite 15. Its current official site confirms classes, longarm quilting, custom sewing, machine embroidery, and custom fabric cutting.

The shop does not publish regular hours, and its online product collection was empty when checked. Call before visiting for a particular fabric, a large backing quantity, class availability, or longarm intake.

Tooele County Quilters

Tooele County Quilters meets at 9:30 a.m. on the third Tuesday. Utah Quilt Guild’s 2026 directory gives the Tooele County Health Building, 151 N. Main Street, as the current location. The guild’s own blog still displays an older meeting address, so confirm before attending for the first time.

Guild activities include educational presentations, classes, blocks of the month, mystery and challenge quilts, show and tell, and charity projects. Annual dues are listed as $20, and visitors are welcome.

Related textile exhibition in 2026

The Natural History Museum of Utah’s free Woven Through Time traveling exhibition is scheduled for September 25 through October 30, 2026, at Zions Bank, 998 N. Main Street. It is an Indigenous basketry exhibition created in consultation with Utah’s eight sovereign tribal nations—not a quilt show—but it offers textile and weaving context that fiber artists may value.
