Grantsville’s verified quilting resources center on project services and public exhibits. Creative Corner handles longarm work, repairs, and instruction, while the county celebration gives local quilters and sewists a place to show their work.

Creative Corner

Creative Corner is at 5 E. Main Street, Suite B. Current Tooele County Chamber and Utah SBDC profiles confirm longarm quilting, quilt and sewing repair, lessons, machine embroidery, hemstitching, alterations, mending, and retail sewing supplies.

No current source confirms a regular bolt-fabric inventory, so plan to buy quilt fabric in Tooele or elsewhere. Creative Corner also does not publish its own current hours or class calendar. Call before visiting with a quilt, requesting a repair estimate, or looking for a specific supply.

Heritage Days Home Arts

Tooele County Heritage Days runs at The Peak Sports and Entertainment Complex, 2930 UT-112. The 2026 event ran July 30 through August 1 and included a public Home Arts show for sewing projects and quilts. Organizers explicitly invited quilters, stitchers, and other makers to enter.

USU Extension also ran a free, all-ages America 250 fabric challenge. Participants used supplied fabric, buttons, and ribbon to create an exhibit, with sewing, quilting, and mixed techniques allowed. Dates, themes, and entry rules can change each year, so use the current Heritage Days and Tooele County 4-H materials before preparing an entry.
