Fabric stores in Hyde Park, Utah

Hyde Park is a village of a few thousand people just north of Logan, and it punches well above its size on this particular map.

ADORNit is a design house rather than an ordinary shop. The company creates its own fabric and craft products — bright, playful, distinctly its own — and they turn up in craft and fabric shops well beyond Utah. The specialty is all-in-one kits for embroidery, quilting and stamping, so it’s a good place to start something without assembling a materials list first. The guild meets here

Cache Valley’s Needles and Friends quilt guild gathers at the Hyde Park City Building on the second Tuesday of each month at ten, with a workshop on the fourth Tuesday. Members range from their twenties to their eighties, and it’s a straightforward way into the local quilting community if you’ve recently moved to the valley.
