About Stylish Fabrics Bernina

Stylish Fabrics has been on Main Street in Logan since 1958, which makes it one of the oldest fabric shops still trading anywhere in Utah. Nearly seventy years in the same trade is its own kind of recommendation.

The scale is what strikes people first: thousands of bolts, with cotton, flannel and minky all well represented. It’s also a full Bernina dealership, so machines, servicing and fabric all sit under one roof — a useful combination if you’re weighing up an upgrade and want to try before deciding.

The nicest touch is the quilts. The shop keeps something like forty finished quilts on display at a time, which is far more than most shops manage and makes it a genuinely good place to go when you’re stuck for ideas rather than short of materials. Wandering round looking at what other people have done with a fabric line is worth the visit on its own.

One correction worth noting: this shop is at 138 North Main Street. Some older directories still list an earlier address, so set your map to Main Street rather than trusting an out-of-date listing.
