Fabric stores in Morgan County

Morgan County’s clearest current quilting resource is LouLou’s Fabric Shop, a Morgan-based online quilt business with a large current catalog and hosted retreats. The county fair also gives local makers a public exhibit opportunity, although Morgan does not currently have a separately listed Utah Quilt Guild chapter.

LouLou’s sells quilting cotton by the yard along with precuts, curated fat-quarter bundles, kits, patterns, and notions. Its current About page explicitly describes the business as online-only, so the State Street address should not be treated as regular walk-in retail.

The shop also runs all-inclusive Adventure Quilt Retreats at Bear River Lodge. Each retreat begins with a private shopping event at LouLou’s Morgan warehouse. Morgan County Fair exhibits

The 2026 Morgan County Fair runs July 25 through August 1 at 750 E. Como Springs Road in Morgan. Its current exhibit-building page provides required entry forms, tags, and open-class exhibit information. Utah 4-H also lists quilting, tied quilting, sewing construction, and fabric crafts among its county- fair project categories.

Entry eligibility, intake times, divisions, and classes can change, so use the current Morgan County Fair exhibit page before preparing a quilt. This directory does not assume that every statewide 4-H category is offered to every age group or in open class.
