Miss Annie’s Quilt Shoppe is on East 100 South in Roosevelt, and its value is largely about geography. The Uinta Basin is a long way from the Wasatch Front — the drive to Salt Lake is a good three hours — so shops out here carry the whole load for their communities.

Older listings show it keeping generous hours, from nine on weekdays, though we haven’t been able to confirm that recently. The phone number comes from the Utah Quilt Guild’s shop list and would benefit from a fresh check.

Vernal is about half an hour east and has two shops, including Apricot Stitches which does longarm quilting. Quilts-N-Fabrics in Altamont is closer still. See Duchesne County.
